Professor Brian Cox explains how black holes ‘compose music’ | Classic FM

Celebrated physicist and musician Professor Brian Cox joins Classic FM to compare the ‘musical offerings’ of three supermassive black holes. These data-based sonifications were created by the Chandra X-ray Center (CXC), with input from NASA’s Universe of Learning.

Watch out for comparisons to one of Hollywood’s greatest composers.

You can listen to Professor Brian Cox on Classic FM in ‘A Symphony of Science’, Saturday 6 & 13 July 9pm -10pm.
