Black Sabbath‘s guitarist Tony Iommi and bassist Geezer Butler have now commented on the passing of they bandmate and friend Ozzy Osbourne..
Iommi, Butler & Ward were the last musicians to share the stage with Ozzy .. for his final live performance .. at ‘Back To The Beginning‘,and the show raised hundreds of millions of dollars for charity ..
Iommi stated:
“I just can’t believe it! My dear dear friend Ozzy has passed away only weeks after our show at Villa Park.
It’s just such heartbreaking news that I can’t really find the words, there won’t ever be another like him. Geezer, Bill and myself have lost our brother.
My thoughts go out to Sharon and all the Osbourne family. Rest in peace Oz. Tony“

Butler stated:

The performance was filmed on July 5th at Villa Park in Birmingham, UK, with a huge tribute to Sabbath and Ozzy …. featuring short sets from Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Slayer, Tool, Pantera and many more ..
That sold-out show was also livestreamed raising over $190 million USD for Cure Parkinson’s, the Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorn Children’s Hospice.
