The Smashing Pumpkins reveal Rats in A Cage tour 2026 “Mellon Collie And The …” 30th Anniv. tour announced on livestream
The Smashing Pumpkins put on a livestreamed event called ‘Farewell To Zero: A Private Requiem With The Smashing Pumpkins‘ on May 17th. Part fictional memorial service/part concert, …it was a farewell to the ‘Zero’ persona-adopted by band’s frontman Billy Corgan in the 90s, it had eulogies and tributes.
..it was held at the American Legion Post 43 in Los Angeles, CA, and there was a live performance that preceded the announcement of an arena tour that the band will head out on .. it is the 30th anniversary of their double album, 1995’s “Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness“.

That tour is called. , ‘The Rats In A Cage Tour‘, was unveiled during the end of that livestreamed event, … The performance part of today’s ‘requiem’ had the below setlist:
