‘In Dulci Jubilo’ for organ – J.S. Bach | Classic FM

Organist James Norrey plays the much-loved ‘In Dulci Jubilo’ at the Church of St Bartholomew the Great in the City of London. The ancient carol, whose name translates to ‘in sweet rejoicing’, has taken on many guises over the centuries – from the early choral offering of Michael Praetorius, to the beloved arrangement by Robert Pearsall, and of course, the 1976 prog rock hit by Mike Oldfield.

Performed as part of Classic FM’s Carols by Candlelight with Viking, be sure to watch the full concert on Global Player this Christmas.
