Soundgarden are set to hit the stage for a special show December 14th it is a benefit show for the Seattle Children’s Hospital. .. they will play under the name Nudedragons. Shaina Shepherd will be the vocalist .. and they call it ‘a brief encore performance.’ Guitarist Kim Thayil, bassist/vocalist Ben Shepherd & drummer/vocalist Matt Cameron will attend ..
That set will take place at The Showbox in Seattle, WA. ..

Oceans Of Slumber released a cover of the song “Alone“, which was made famous by Heart in 1987. .. vocalist Cammie Beverly stated:
“Dobber [Beverly, Oceans of Slumber drummer] heard me sing ‘Alone‘ one night at karaoke and thought it’d be cool for us to cover it. When we got together, we decided to make our version of ‘Alone‘ heavier by leaning into Oceans of Slumber‘s sound. ”

the big news this week is that Iron Maiden fdrummer Nicko McBrain, now 72 has announced he is stepping down from touring with the band… it is the demanding sets he plays in his 70s, and also his decision comes two years after suffering a mini-stroke in January of 2023 and a 2021 battle with Laryngeal Cancer.
he will remain a member of the band possibly doing studio work in the future or other and the new drummer is Simon Dawson of British Lion from Steve Harris’ solo band
