Former Royal Harpist and Classic FM rising star Alis Huws plays the first movement (‘Jig a Jig’) from Catrin Finch’s Celtic Concerto. Performed with the Philharmonia Orchestra under Ben Palmer for Classic FM Live with Viking, the upbeat piece reflects the culturally-rich heritage of the composer and the soloist’s shared homeland: Wales.
