We asked English conductor Ben Palmer to review footage of himself conducting the great ‘In the Hall of the Mountain King’ from Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite – with all its challenges in tempo and dynamics. Ben conducted the work with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra at Classic FM Live in April 2024.
