he is currently in the recording studio working on his new material, he posted “SNEAK PEEK. Here’s a little taste of what’s coming in 2023. Also, as I explained, HOOK will not be performing on @shiprocked but I will still be there jamming with all my friends in the stowaways… see you on the boat ~H00K #2023 #newmusic @5fdp_norwegianknuckleheads”.

Jason, joined FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH in 2009 stated about his departure from 5FDP “As for the reason I’m leaving… well, there really isn’t just one. I’ve been in bands my entire life and I feel like I’ve done all the good that I can here. It’s time to pass the baton and move on to new challenges.”
