EYE AM (Crowbar/Down/ ex-Type O Negative) change name to SUN DONT SHINE

EYE AM have changed their name to SUN DONT SHINE. … going by newly released press material and the band’s own Facebook profile. That supergroup has Crowbar vocalist/guitarist Kirk Windstein, ex-Type O Negative guitarist/vocalist Kenny Hickey and drummer/vocalist Johnny Kelly, and ex-Crowbar/Down bassist Todd Strange.

Hickey spoke about the bands vidion – “I don’t want our music to be one-dimensional. I don’t want it to be just dark and doomy or always so heavy. I want it to be both light and dark, dynamic and unpredictable.”
it is unclear why the change in name took place, the group have assured fans that it doesn’t represent a stylistic shift of music as they offered, “Everything is gonna stay the same except the name.”
