GosT’s James Lollar has passed away at 47
A crowdfunding campaign has been launched to help the family of GosT mastermind James Lollar. The passing of the dark synthwave musician was announced in a statement shared on April 2nd.
James Lollar, was 46 and it is believed he passed on April 1st.
That statement read:
“The whole GOST team is incredibly saddened to inform you that James Cody Lollar, known as GOST, passed away yesterday. We are sending all our prayers to his family and friends during this time of grief. He will be remembered as a wonderful human being and a tremendously talented artist.
We kindly ask that everyone respect the privacy of his loved ones during these difficult times. He will be deeply missed by all.”
A crowdfunding campaign has been launched to assist the family with his final expenses
The following was said on the campaign page:
“We are deeply saddened by the sudden loss of our loved one, James Cody Lollar. He was a father, a friend, a talented musician, and a one-of-a-kind human being. He was cherished by so many, which has been very evident in the outpouring of love and support from loved ones, friends, and supporters of his music across the globe.
Many have asked how they can support his family or show their condolences during this devastating time. In lieu of flowers, if you feel moved and are able, you are welcome to support by donating to help cover his final expenses and ease the financial burden on his family during this difficult time.
