Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson changes touring line up for solo tour
Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson has now changed the musicians that will be touring with him for his solo tour … he now has guitarists Philip NaĚslund and Chris Declercq. Roy Z, who worked on his new album, âThe Mandrake Projectâ, was originally going to tour with Bruce however Roy is forced to sit out due to personal commitments.
Dickinson stated:
âSadly, and with regret, guitarist and producer Roy Z will no longer join the band on tour due to some personal commitments. He will remain in L.A. to work on some remixing and remastering of the catalogue. We all know the show must go on though, and this project is too important to everyone to not be the very best it can be.
Iâm gutted about Roy because he assembled most of the album and touring band, introducing Mistheria [keyboards] and Dave Moreno [drums] to the project and mentoring guitarist Chris Declerq. Iâm so excited about what both Philip and Chris will bring on stage together and now my only ambition is to grab a little piece of the audiencesâ hearts every night.â
NaĚslund the new guitarist stated:
âEternally thankful, proud and excited to announce Iâll be shredding alongside the, forever iconic Bruce Dickinson and his AMAZING band The Mandrake Project this spring/summer.â
Bassist Tanya O-Callaghan is on bass for the tour .. he will play The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA on April 15th. Tickets will be up February 20th at 10:00am PST. the new solo album is out March 1st rfor the album âThe Mandrake Projectâ
