with the departure of vocalist/guitarist Brent Hinds from Mastodon recntly .. they are now looing for a new guitarist …
fans have posted that Hinds allegedly expressed some unhappiness in being in the band, however the announcement did hit everyone by suprise … Hinds has yet to publicly comment on the circumstances that led to him no longer being in the band ..
now Mastodon have returned to the stage, on Tool’s ‘Tool Live In The Sand‘ festival in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. .. it looks like musician/YouTuber Ben Eller of Stuff Mastodon Does channel .. got the job to fill-in.
we dont know if it is temporary or not, … Eller was onstage during soundcheck, and according to numerous fans of his and the band’s, has since taken to performing with the group tonight in place of Hinds.
