WITHERING SCORN, the new band featuring former MEGADETH drummer Shawn Drover and his brother,and ex-MEGADETH member, Glen Drover,… also in the band FATES WARNING bassist Joe DiBiase and vocalist Henning Basse, who was with FIREWIND, METALIUM and MAYAN, they are now mixing its second album, “Sanctum Of The Depraved”. The album will be the follow-up to WITHERING SCORN’s debut, “Prophets Of Demise”, which came out in July 2023 through Frontiers Music Srl. no release date yet..stay tuned

on August 18th, a new documentary about leat heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne and his family was pulled from the BBC‘s schedule. .. it was called ‘Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home‘,.. it was originally called ‘Home To Roost‘, which was about the final years of Osbourne‘s life as he and his family relocated back to the UK.
due to Ozzy‘s health the vision for the series was then turned int a full documentary. on the 18th it was pulled without explanation, a statement has now been issued by BBC … that confirms a request was made by the family to hold off on airing the documentary for now. That statement read:
“Our sympathies are with the Osbourne family at this difficult time. We are respecting the family’s wishes to wait a bit longer before airing this very special film. The new air date will be confirmed shortly.”
Osbourne passed away on July 22nd from a cardiac arrest at the age of 76.
