SLOWER doom metal supergroup release new song “Rage And Ruin” off new album Rage and Ruin

the band Slower which some call a doom metal supergroup which includes vocalist Amy Barrysmith (Year Of The Cobra), guitarist Bob Balch (Fu Manchu) and drummer Esben Willems (Monolord), released a new song titled “Rage And Ruin” from their debut album Rage and Ruin .. see link below.

That album drops on November 1st through Heavy Psych Sounds they have a past album of doom Slayer songs as well on Dr and streamers .. . the new album willhave renditions of slayer’s “Chemical Warfare” and “Haunting The Chapel“.

Balch stated about their new song:

“‘Rage And Ruin‘ was the last song written for the album. After listening to what we had so far, I felt that we needed a song with a mellow intro and a different tuning to set it apart from the other jams. As a music theory dork, I also thought it would be a good idea to use a harmonic minor mode to give it a different vibe from the other songs.”

Barrysmith stated:

“‘Rage And Ruin‘ was the last song we wrote together and quickly became the title track. As soon as Bob sent me his ideas and I heard that beautiful intro, I got so excited and inspired. It immediately became one of my favorites. I love how it is a slight departure from the other songs, but still fits in perfectly.”

RAGE AND RUIN is SLOWER second single taken from the band’s upcoming sophomore album RAGE AND RUIN.

The release will see the light 1st November via Heavy Psych Sounds.
