The former Classic FM presenter joined composer and illustrator Steve Thompson to perform a brassy rendition of ‘Oh When the Saints’. John was narrating Thompson’s reimagining of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytale ‘The Wild Swans’ with new text, illustrations, and an arrangement of Elena Kats-Chernin’s music for piano and trombone.
