In a new interview with the FM99 WNOR radio station, BREAKING BENJAMIN guitarists Jasen Rauch and Keith Wallen had a chat about the recording sessions for their new album. Jasen stated (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “We’re definitely recording. We’ve been writing for a while. Our tour schedule keeps things kind of intermittent. We’ll go on a tour. We’re out for quite a while, come home. Everybody wants to go see their family, have some downtime or whatever.”
Keith and I do some work on the side with other bands, other projects. Keith’s got his solo stuff, which is rad… But as far as recording goes, it’s been so long since we’ve had an album out, we feel somewhat precious about it and are just making sure our quality control is there. So we are actually working, we are actually recording. We have songs that are finished, and it’s just gonna be about all the business stuff —interfacing with the label and release schedule,…and then as far as us fitting in those recordings around the tour schedule.”

the band Darko which are a progressive deathcore collab released a new song called “Bunny Suit” and video for it .. they dropped the song on DR and streamers and also dropped a live in-studio performance video through CaliberTV. .. the band includes Chelsea Grin vocalist Tom Barber (ex-Lorna Shore) and drummer Josh Miller (ex-Spite/Emmure).

the band line up for their “Power Up” European tour, starting in May will be Brian Johnson, guitarists Angus and Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug and new touring bassist Chris Chaney.

JUDAS PRIEST singer Rob Halford had a recent interview with Remy Maxwell of Audacy Check In, and talked about songs off their new album “Invincible Shield” album: “Panic Attack”, “Trial By Fire” and “Crown Of Horns”. He said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “Your first three cuts, your first three tracks of your new album are so important because they have to send the right messages out in terms of connectivity and what are they doing now?
“You wait till you hear ‘The Serpent And The King’,” Halford added about one of the tracks that have yet to be released from the LP. “That’s gonna rip your head off. We’ve already sent a teaser out for that, and the fans are already losing their minds. So, all the things that you love about PRIEST are enmeshed in ‘Invincible Shield’, and then some.”
“Invincible Shield” will arrive on March 8 via Sony Music.
