Slayer’s Tom Araya’s wife says she ‘harassed’ him for years to reunite Slayer ..
looks like the Slayer reunion was definitely approved by Tom’s wife … Sandra Araya the wife of Slayer vocalist/bassist Tom Araya, has taken some responsibility for the
band’s upcoming reunion shows.
Speaking on social media .. Sandra stated:
“Let’s clarify for the trolls: Tom was done with playing. I have harassed him for over a year. He agreed FINALLY. We shared that news with Slayer‘s awesome managers and they did the rest! So yes without Tom it wouldn’t have happened.. without me BUGGING HIM it wouldn’t have happened. But go ahead with your drama! I however will be enjoying a few shows and I’m thankful he loves me and the fans enough to do this.”
prior to this Slayer guitarist Kerry King revealed he previously had little to no contact with Araya since the band called it quits in 2019. also Gary Holt‘s wife Lisa spoke of the reunion as well..
