Static-X are set to release a new documentary film on the band called ‘Evil Disco: The Rise, Fall, And Regeneration Of Static-X‘. … they have now released the first trailer for that film as March 23rd, is the 25th anniversary of the release date of their debut album, “Wisconsin Death Trip“.

Numerous guests give interviews in the film, including members of Fear Factory, Jane’s Addiction, Hatebreed and more. Static-X refer to their brand of industrial metal as ‘evil disco’
Static’s passing seemed to be the end of the band .. however there was a surprising resurrection in 2018 and the bands classic-era lineup returned with Edsel Dope of Dope …. performing live as a living effigy of Static, appearing under the name Xer0. Two albums featuring recordings constructed around songs left behind by Static and various tours have since followed.
